 Sigh here i don't remember to much but here goes. Everything in the universe vibrates on certain frequencies even at the subatomic levels. Using that mindset you can track anything in the known universe but listening to right frequency. Crystals give of certain frequencies and using harmonic resonance of said crystal you can make just about anything you could ever imagine. Runes within the crystal lattice funnel the magic or energy into doing what you want it to do. Some are used to make advance computers back home while other can be used and act as a prison containing the energy of a bad guy as it were. One could even create a magical engine to power just about anything as magic just another form of energy. It all comes down to the lattice of a certain crystal and using special tool to alter the lattice a certain way so to speak and create a pathway for the energy.

A magical engine is basically a device that draws in energy of some kind and converts it into an energy that you can use to power said object. Like for instance one engine using the power of love could take that energy and convert it into an energy to make an energy field to surround a certain structure though course said structure acts like focusing beacon to project said field around it.

To those don't think love is an energy well when you love you give off energy. Hell any emotion you give off releases said energy. A magical engine would just capture said energy and convert into something more usable. When said engine feeds off a certain type of energy it needs that sort of energy constantly to sustain it reaction. Sort of like what goes on in a star. Back home i understand the math behind all of this. I have many war machines or Golems that use this concept. They a crystal that gives off a constant charge that fuels the engine in turn power the golem and powering everything. The Golems are one of my greatest creations as they were meant to fight the darkness and have many anti magic runes built into their armor they also have built in energy projectors that add a layer of energy over the hull. Every Golem has both energy and melee weapons, Low yield projectile weapons, Portable energy shields, containment crystals. There more sleeker ones that can act as assassin's if the need were to arise but for the most part they are only to be used in extreme instances. To date none of these have ever been needed that
