new mission and new direction

 Once my time here I'll be helping some others in another reality to get home. My friend Steph gave

me a tarot card reading: Art Divination Reading: This green dragon is the master of grass, foliage, plants and growing things. Green is the color of life, renewal, nature, energy, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. This color is associated with money, finances, banking, ambition, greed and jealousy. The dragon is the traditional symbol of the divine feminine, with the spreading wings representing the water of creation. The dragon is traditionally associated with goddesses such as Ishtar, Tiamat and other divine feminines that represent the ultimate power of creation.

This represents gardening and growing. Getting and and getting dirty might not always be feasible, so what are some good indoor things if you're feeling cooped up? Why drawing! Art! Photography! Look up some nature shows on TV and enjoy the for the time. Spend some time getting in touch with mother nature. You can do so within your home, you can even grow house plants or air plants. If you're not much of a green thumb, maybe its time to pick up a gardening book, a starter gardening set and plant a few seeds. Looking for some easy starters? Ask your local gardeners or the nursery whats the easiest, hardest to kill thing and see what they get you started on for your region. If you're feeling creative enough to draw, maybe go take a picture from nature, or grab something simple like a leaf or feather from outside. Really study it, draw it (you can be as little detailed or as much as you want). Enoy the process and as you do it, remember back to all the fun times you have had in nature or with plants. Want to preserve plants to enjoy during the off season? try pressing flowers or plants during the blooming season to bring out during winter. This is a blessed card for the writer, as the dragon in the tree once was a symbol of the writer. Some trees were said to have dragon spirits or dryads or other tree spirits in them. This is an opportunity to connect with those. Some ancient tales from the early days of paper would say that writers would commune with the tree spirit to create their books and art. This is a reminder to listen to nature and the stories the plants tell us. Also, keeping an eye on the health of your local plants will give you indications of the local environment's health.
