Light cast arrows are angelic weapons. Each arrow has a small vibration crystal within the arrow head. Within the crystal was a small particle of source energy suspended with a vibrational field the particle is only stable with in the field. Once the arrow make contact with the target the crystal cracks and the field collapses thus releasing an enormous amount of lethal energy.
